At CreativeAK we partner with Godaddy as the primary Domain Registrar and DNS Manager for all of our new domains (Already have a domain registrar? That’s ok, we are able to work with whichever provider that your business already uses).

A Domain Registrar is a company with which you can register a domain name (your URL, i.e. www.example.com). Every website on the internet has a unique domain name. It essentially is your address on the internet.

A DNS Management System is where you can “point” your domain name wherever it needs to be pointed, i.e. to your website, your email provider, etc. There are a few key settings on this page and if you would like to learn more you can you can read about DNS Zones here. But you won’t have to worry about all of those settings because we will manage that for you.

If you choose to work with us here at CreativeAK we will take care of all of these settings for you. You will simply be able to type your domain name into a web browser and your website will appear.

Choosing a Domain Name
