Our passion is helping businesses succeed and grow. Our niche is local online marketing, SEO, and website design. At the end of the day, we succeed if we can provide our clients with a great online presence that ranks well and drives the conversions they need to succeed.
Founded in 2014, CreativeAK started by simply building websites. It quickly became apparent that a website is just the start of what a business needs to succeed in the online space. With this in mind, we began building every site mobile-friendly from the ground up and optimizing each site for speed because that is what is needed to give a user the experience they need on your website. Then we began to see that no matter how great a website is, it cannot be successful if no one ever lands on it.
In 2015 we began investing in SEO and online marketing best practices. In 2017 we partnered with Bright Local to provide KPI and Rank Tracking to our clients. Now all of our websites are built on WordPress. We utilize WP Engine to ensure that our sites are fast, secure, and backed up. Google Analytics is built into every website and Google My Business is tracked just heavily as the site itself to ensure local success. We have reporting dashboards through Brightlocal and offer SEO consulting services. In 2018 it is simply not enough to just build websites, so we adapted into a full digital agency focused on building your business in the organic and local online space.
My name is Jacob Wilson and I started CreativeAK in 2014. I began building websites for friends in middle school. At the time I was just playing around using Adobe Dreamweaver, creating very simple HTML pages. The idea of creating something that could be accessed by the entire online community intrigued me even then. Since then, I have played with web design off and on for the last 15 years, until in 2013 I decided to create CreativeAK. My first website was for a youth sports organization in Spokane, WA. It wasn’t my best work, but it was my jumping-off point into the world of web design, online marketing, and search engine optimization.
Fast forward to today. I took a hobby that I have enjoyed since childhood, refined my design and online marketing skills and now I am proud of every new site I complete. I still don’t know exactly where it will lead me, but I’m glad that I took the plunge.
